Shopping With I Am Natural Store

I've said it before and I'll say it again — finding a green beauty store that offers a little bit of everything is hard. Perhaps it's because I do most of my shopping online, but one of my biggest grievances with green beauty has been my trouble finding a store that ticks off all my boxes — worldwide shipping, clean ingredients, and tons of brands in one place. Luckily, I have been fortunate enough to find a few places to check off all my requirements, including a new favorite of mine — I Am Natural Store.

Based in Australia (my bucket list continent), this lovely store has hands down one of my favorite curated collections of green beauty. Right off the bat, I saw Yuli Skincare, Mahalo and Bite Beauty....I mean, come on. It felt like this collection of gorgeous brands was picked just for me and my skin, and I was thrilled from the moment I discovered it! For the past two months, I've been testing out a few goodies from this lovely place, and I'm thrilled to be able to share my thoughts.

Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil* in Tannin: Those that have been reading my blog for awhile might recall that I tend to avoid lipstick. It's not that I don't like have color on my lips, I do! It's just that my pout is in such a constant state of dryness that finding a pigment that doesn't make them look horrendous is quite a task. So, I'll fully admit I was a bit skeptical upon first trying out this very pigmented pencil from Bite. Because, while this is the brand that created my beloved Agave Lip Mask, I wasn't sure how such a strong formula that throws around a word like "matte" would work for my irritable lips. Alright, so let's get to the point — after just one try I was a convert. Yes, this is very pigmented color and it absolutely is matte, but it somehow just worked for me. I should preface this by saying that I did some hardcore moisturizing before applying — lots of lip balm for Morgan. But, after exfoliating and moisturizing the bejeesus outta my lips, this formula worked quite beautifully. Colorful and intense without emphasizing dryness, basically my miracle lipstick! As for the intense red color, I definitely wouldn't say it's my everyday go-to. Instead, I save this bold look for special occasions, where the pop of color really delivers!

Yuli Skincare Modern Alchemist*: At the point that I got my hands on this dreamy oil, I think I had already made my way through all of Yuli's other face oil options. Side note: they are all dreamy, and I look forward to doing a comparison post some time soon! Anyways, this particular oil is touted as being the best for dry, aging skin, so I was very interested to see how it worked with my often times drier than a desert complexion. Like all of Yuli's products, this oil uses some truly innovative ingredients which, in this case, over 27 bio-active botanicals (including a bio-retinol complex). The purpose is to substantially hydrate, relax and renew your complexion. So, while I didn't see results right away (aside from increased hydration), after two months of daily nightly use I have definitely seen some impressive effects from this beauty. My skin tone has evened out, I've seen acne scars fade, and my skin type has absolutely become more balanced. Instead of drier than dry skin that is constantly dehydrated, I've noticed my complexion now stays perfectly moisturized after a simple basic oil during the day. The change might have taken a bit to see, but I fully credit the great benefits to using this dreamy formula on a nightly basis!

Yuli Skincare Pure Mask*: In my experience, dry and sensitive skin plus a powder mask usually is a recipe for a disaster. I know, I know, that's such an overgeneralization, but in my case, it's something I've very much found to be true. So, suffice it to say, I was eager to keep my experience with this particular dry powder mask (which touts itself as being extra purifying) as gentle as possible. I added a touch of water to create my desired mousse-like consistency and got to work spreading the formula all over. After about fifteen minutes or so, it had dried down, and I washed it off to reveal some seriously glowing skin. Honestly, I might be a culprit of over-using that phrase, but just one use of this gem left my complexion looking positively radiant, feeling soft, and far less red than usual. After repeated use, I can honestly say this is the best dry powder mask I have ever used. For me, it seems like the more sensitive-skin friendly alternative to May Lindstrom's Problem Solver, a mask that is touted as giving similar results, but packed a little too much of a whollop for my sensitive skin.

Have you shopped at I Am Natural Store? This beautiful site ships worldwide, so for all my international readers out there I would highly recommend!
