Luk Beautifood's Tea Rose

An entire post about a tinted balm, you ask? When it comes from the beautiful Luk Beautifood, you better believe there will be an entire post in dedication. I was recently introduced to this gorgeous brand of completely natural, non-toxic lip products and, upon first application, I was in love. The products of this brand are built "harnessing the power of food", a decision that this green beauty (and food) lover can fully get behind.

For the past several weeks now I've been trying out one of the brand's star products, their Lip Nourish in the shade Tea Rose*. Made of treats such as avocado oil and shea butter, this Lip Nourish is aptly named, because it is creamy soft and super hydrating. The product contains a subtle, sheer tint to it, which, in the case of Tea Rose, I would describe as a very flattering rose-y nude color. For me, I feel like this shade fits my natural lip color but turns up the volume a bit, defining my pout and giving it some natural shine and pigment.

As someone who rarely wears lipstick, I am a big tinted lip balm fan, and thus am quite picky when it comes to trying this particular type of product out. This specific offering has been far and away one of the best I've tried and, in fact, the shade has fast become my go-to pick for mornings when I want to swipe a bit of color on my lips and go. It lasts for quite some time, and is super quick and easy to reapply at any point. An all-around winner, in my books!

Have you tried anything from Luk Beautifood? Would love to hear any recommendations on what shade I should try out next!
