The Boy Brow

My relationship with my eyebrows has always been tumultuous at best. When I was growing up I actually had fairly nice brows, but that changed after my first encounter with a pair of tweezer. Damn over plucking. Anyways in recent years I've tried to embrace the "full brows" trend with mixed results. I spent the summer in Minnesota growing them out, which was both a choice and a consequence of living in the middle of nowhere. When I arrived back in civilization I decided to take a trip to Benefit's Brow Bar to get them taken care of and reshaped after having grown out my over plucked hair. Let's just skip over the part where the brow artist acted as if I had just escaped from being held captive in the wilderness and get to the present.

My brows are finally looking better so it was high time to invest in a quick and easy product to help them look shaped and ready each morning. Enter Glossier's new Boy Brow*. Contained in a simple tube, this little wand thickens, fills in and grooms brows in just a few sweeps. The result is a very natural looking brow that still manages to appear put together and powerful. Basically it's everything I've been looking for in a daily brow product. I use it in the shade Brown which is a perfect match for my medium brown hair, helping to create fuller but natural looking eyebrows.

I should note that this product is not entirely natural, though I do appreciate their transparent ingredients list as well as the fact that they are a cruelty-free brand. I've been impressed enough with the results that I'm really happy using this guy each day, and it's safe to say it's become my go-to brow product.

Have you guys tried anything from Glossier? I've trialled stuff from them in the past and absolutely adored it, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!
