Tata Harper's Daily Essentials

Long before I started changing over to green beauty, Tata Harper was a brand that was on my radar. The signature green bottles seemed to be popping up on all my favorite blogs and shops, screaming for me to try them out (have I mentioned beauty products talk to me?). The luxurious line of skincare was created by the eponymous Tata Harper, who works with her team to handmade stunning products that promise results.

I've been trying out the Tata Harper Daily Essentials* for awhile now, which contains seven trail sizes of some of the brand's most popular picks. The kit includes their Regenerating Cleanser, Hydrating Floral Essence, Rejuvenating Serum, Reparative MoisturizerReplenishing Nutrient Complex, Restorative Eye Creme and Resurfacing Mask, and I have enjoyed each and every piece in its own way.

Let's start with the moisturizers and serums, which take up a good majority of the group. Before either of these steps, though, I always start with a spritz of the apltly named Hydrating Floral Essence. Hailed as a hydrating spray, toner and ultra-lightweight moisturizer all in one, this gorgeously scented essence has quickly become one of my favorite parts of my routine. Loaded with Hyaluronic Acid and florals, I like to prep my skin with this before using a serum, and also love carrying it around for a nice refresher throughout the day.

Then there's the Rejuvenating Serum, one of the biggest sellers for the brand a a whole. The lightweight serum infused your skin with antioxidants and vitamins that promote a healthier, more radiant complexion. I'll follow this up with the Restorative Eye Creme and Reparative Moisturizer, which are both ridiculously hydrating without being greasy. In fact, after just a few days of trying out the Reparative Moisturizer I ended up purchasing a full size of it because it's just that good. It uses raw honey, willow bark extract (a natural form of salicylic acid), jojoba oil and mango seed butter to thoroughly moisturize your skin, keeping it hydrated all day long.

Two other products I've gone out and (immediately) bought full sizes for have been the Regenerating Cleanser as well as the Resurfacing Mask. I had used the Resurfacing Mask in the past and been thoroughly impressed, so I was excited to try this formula again. The mixture of willow bark extract, french pink clay and pomegranate enzymes create the most luminous complexion you can imagine. The pink jelly-texture spreads easily on dry skin, slowly tightening (though not uncomfortably) over the course of the recommended 20 to 30 minutes. I'm always amazed at how well this removes dead skin cells after I've taken it off - it's really superb at brightening up my skin, and never irritates my sensitive face.

The Regenerating Cleanser is another one I fell head over heels for, with a formula that's perfect for my dry, yet somehow congested, skin. Apricot seed oil performs some manual exfoliation on top of the combination of willow bark extract, french pink clay and pomegranate enzymes (obviously a formula with some overlaps to the Resurfacing Mask), which all work to gently brighten your skin as you rub the formula in. I personally adore this cleanser because it manages to detoxify my skin while simultaneously hydrating it, a feat that's none too easy to achieve. I can't imagine a skin type this wouldn't work for, it's so versatile.

All in all, if you're looking to try out Tata Harper for yourself I would absolutely recommend trying out the Daily Essentials* to start. The brand is, admittedly, quite pricey, and I felt like this kit provided generously sized samples to really get a great feel for the products. Just beware that you may be tempted to buy a full size (or, in my case, three). Prepare yourselves, because I can promise you'll be seeing a lot more of this brand in the future on this here blog...
