Hana Organics' Lavender Grains

Hana Organics has fast become a brand that continues to impress. A while back I tested out a few of the gems behind this wonderful line of natural products, and each one impressed me with its gentle effectiveness. I've recently been trying out one of the star products of the line, the brand's Lavender Grains*, and I'm ready to share my thoughts on it (spoiler alert: its great).

I've always been a bit hesitant with exfoliating products, especially exfoliating grains, because I have some truly temperamental skin. While my skin is dry (especially during the winter when it becomes like sandpaper) and could definitely use some exfoliating, its also super sensitive and just a little too much exfoliation will send it into even drier territory. Fun stuff. So anyways, I was a little scared at first that the Lavender Grains would be a bit too much for my skin to handle. Luckily it turns out they hit that perfect spot that my skin can take and they've been working out wonderfully.

These grains actually have a ton of uses, with the ability to work as a cleanser, exfoliator and mask all in one. I've been using it most frequently as an exfoliator, adding just a little bit of water to create a paste that gently removes dead skin cells without causing any irritation or drying out my skin. It's been a great step to add to my routine every couple of days, and with frequent use I've found my skin to seem a lot less dry and patchy then usual.

Have you guys tried anything from HANA yet? I'd love to hear your favorites!
