Green People

I follow a lot of beauty bloggers, some for several years. Honestly it was my love of reading other's blogs that led me to start one of my own, a process that has become a fun and rewarding outlet for my beauty obsession. All in all I'd say a good half of the blogs I follow are from the UK, so I've been introduced to a lot of lines that sounds amazing only to find out they were only sold overseas. One such brand was Green People, an affordable and natural line of products that contained a little bit of everything. So when I found out a few months ago that this incredible line of products was now available to the US, you can imagine how psyched I was to try it out for myself.

For about two months now I've been trialling a few picks from the brand's skin care and hair care components and I've equally thrilled with the results. Let's start with the skin care, which I've been trying out in the form of the line's Fruit Scrub Exfoliator* as well as their Fruitful Nights Night Cream*. I knew right away the exfoliator and I would get along just fine once I saw its ingredients list, which contained squalane and apricot seed powder for a gentle exfoliation. It works wonderfully for my dry skin by gently exfoliating dead skin cells, leaving behind totally hydrated skin. The night cream was equally impressive, containing rosehip, hibiscus and fruit extracts for a very moisturizing experience. My skin has been especially dry during these colder months so I've loved adding this to my routine for a definite moisture boost.

As much as I loved the skin care, the real star in my mind has been the incredible hair care the line offers. With my oily locks I decided to try out the Clarifying Vitamin Shampoo* and Clarifying Vitamin Conditioner*, which work superbly together to deep cleanse my hair while still leaving it plenty hydrated and super shiny. Both shampoo and conditioner are made with vitamin packed ingredients such as aloe vera and avocado, two very moisturizing components that leave my hair with more shine then I think I've ever seen it before. Then there's mandarin, bergamont and seaweed (the last of which is only in the conditioner), which erase all signs of oil buildup for light, clean hair. I've totally fallen in love with both and plan on repurchasing the generous sizes once I run out.

Have you guys tried anything from Green People before? I'd love to hear what products to try next!
