Gentle on the Skin, Gentle on the Environment: Antonym Cosmetics

During the summer I'm really not one for makeup. I mean, I loved wearing my Josh Rosebrook Tinted Day Cream* on the daily as a sheer wash of color and much needed SPF, but other then that I found it was just too darn hot to really be bothered with making my face up just for it all to melt off (quit the visual, no?). But with fall coming about my love for all things colorful and made is up roaring back, and I'm having such fun discovering new green brands to try out. One of those has been the beautiful Antonym Cosmetics, a brand that provides itself on being "gentle on the skin and environment" while still providing its customers with plenty of fun colors and formulas to experiment with.

I've been testing out a few components of the line, all with equally stunning results. First up is the brand's best selling Baked Foundation* which I've been using in the shade Dark as a beautiful bronzer. Using a thick but pliable Blush/Kabuki Brush* I pick up a bit of pigment from this beautiful formula and swipe it along all the high points of my face, creating a sun kissed look that I could probably never achieve naturally (I burn like a lobster in the sun, thank goodness for makeup). While I sometimes have adverse effects to powder formulas on my dry skin, this is a great option as it applies without making your pores or dry skin super visible. It's a fabulous little product in a truly adorable package and has made me eager to try out some of the blushes from the brand.

I've also been trying out a Lipstick Pencil* from the line, this one in a light pink shade which is aptly named Pinkish. I often get worried that lipstick pencils will not look great on my dry lips, but after applying my handy dandy Moroccan Mint Lip Balm* this beautiful pencil looks great! Pinkish is a wonderful everyday shade that accentuates my natural lip color, making it look a bit more vibrant and pretty. The formula consists of great ingredients such as shea butter, sunflower oil and mineral pigments, creating a creamy waterproof formula that will look wonderful on anyone.

Finally there's the Eyeliner Brush* which has made me really want to try out more brushes from the line - it's fantastic! With a super fine tip, this is the perfect option for a eyeliner brush. I've even been using it with a bit of eyeshadow to accentuate my lower lash line, a task that has been quite difficult to find a great brush for.

Have you guys tried  yet? I know it's a super-popular line in the green beauty community and I can certainly see why. If you haven't tried anything yet I implore you to check them out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date with all their beautiful products, I know you won't be disappointed.
