A Little Good Medicine
How about a little bit of "good medicine" for your skin? That's the goal of the products from Good Medicine Beauty Lab, a brand that makes their products in small batches, specializing in making sure their ingredients are pure and fresh as possible. I've been trying out a few sample sized of some of their bestsellers and I'm ready to share my thoughts!
Let's start with Indigo Sweet Dreams Bath Salts*, which has become my new favorite way of relaxing after a stressful day. I honestly used to believe taking a bath was an activity that stopped after childhood, but after some seriously stressful months I have rediscovered how genuinely wonderful the experience is. And what makes it better? Well some great scents and bath salts, of course! With an aroma of frankincense, myrrh and amber, this is a great combination for a relaxing night and I couldn't be enjoying it any more.
The rest of the products I've tried make up a great skincare routine, including their Clarity Awakening Face Cream*, Honey Bee Blossoming Revelation Mask*, Rain Replenishing Oil Wash*, Sand Red Mineral Polish* as well as their Ashes Reincarnation Cleansing Grains*. All of these are made with formulas that are the definition of fresh, which makes using them quite an enjoyable experience. While I have enjoyed each and every one, if I had to choose favorite they would be the Honey Bee Blossoming Revelation Mask* as well as the Rain Replenishing Oil Wash*.
I knew immediately I would love the mask, because honey is one of my absolute favorite ingredients that my skin just adores. Along with honey (which is antibacterial and superbly hydrating) you've got ingredients like apple cider vinegar, juniper berry, aloe vera and organic lime. All of these together combine to be both a refreshing mask and one that gives your skin a serious glow - thanks in serious part to the lime extract and apple cider vinegar. I like using this every once in awhile to wake up my tired skin which I find it performs well at doing.
Then there's the Rain Replenishing Oil Wash*, an oil cleanser that I knew right away I would like. Argan, jojoba and rose hip are just a few of the oils you'll find in this magical formula, which makes taking off makeup a breeze. Ever since I tried my first oil cleanser I've preferred using that method versus a typical makeup remover, and this is one of the best oil cleansers I've come across. It takes off all your makeup without leaving behind any greasy residue, instead cleansing your skin and leaving it feeling all kinds of hydrated. Not much more I could ask for from an oil cleanser!
