Hynt Beauty

It's been awhile since I have focused in on a really great natural makeup brand, so I'm excited to talk a little bit today about the amazing Hynt Beauty (formerly known as Christopher Drummond Beauty). With a range of different makeup and skincare products, this lovely company provides some seriously gorgeous and luxurious ingredients and packaging.

Their Sun Prep Broad Spectrum SPF 30* is a generously sized mineral sunscreen that is lightweight, moisturizing and provides organic sun protection. With ingredients that include organic aloe vera, organic sesame seed oil and pine bark extract, this gem will not only give you serious protection from UVA/UVB rays but also provides anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant rich ingredients. I'll admit that I have had trouble finding a sunscreen that is both lightweight and non-greasy but this one is fantastic. I'd put it right up their with my beloved Josh Rosebrook Tinted Day Cream* as a favorite that has been protecting my skin on these hot summer days. It's a perfect primer for makeup application, or can just be worn alone on days where I might be running to do errands and can't be bothered with being too made up. It's truly wonderful.

On days where I do want to wear a bit of makeup, I've been adoring the brand's Libre Luxurious Lip Gloss(in the shade Liquid Garnet) as well as their Nocturne Mascara*. The lip gloss is packed full of organic oils and extracts that help to both treat your lips (a big plus for me!) as well as provide a creamy, lightweight color that lasts for hours. Just a few oils included in the formula are organic castor seed oil, organic jojoba oil and organic grapefruit seed oil, which are all incredibly nourishing and even anti-bacterial! I would describe the shade Liquid Garnet as a beautiful sheer burgundy red, which can be worn alone for a bit of color or on top of a lipstick for a really great look (I've been wearing it on top of Kjaer Weis' Passionate, for example).

As for the brand's mascara, I never thought I'd find a natural mascara option I love as much as my Kjaer Weis Mascara, but this one has been making me rethink that. With organic chamomile, organic rosemary leaf and organic sunflower seed oil, the mascara conditions and softens eyelashes without ever smudging, clumping or flaking. These have all been problems I've come across in the past with mascaras, but this gem has held out really well, even when it's a million degrees out and I'm sweating like a mad woman. I've been very impressed, and am glad to add it to my list of natural mascaras that I would absolutely recommend.

Have you guys tried anything from this wonderful brand yet? Let me know any favorites (or products you're curious about!) in the comments below!
