A Second Look at the Wonderful Kat Burki

If you've been reading Blushing Wit for awhile now (which, if so, props to you for dealing with some truly terrible photography!) you might remember my first experience with the brand Kat Burki. I was lucky enough to try out their new(ish) Anti-Aging Collection and have truly loved each and every gem from it! With various products for your face and eye area, everything is filled with ingredients that work to increase collagen, erase fine lines and even your skin tone, using truly beautiful ingredients.

For the eyes, the brand offers a few options. On a weekly basis I've been using their KB5 Eye Recovery Masks*, eight pre-moistened eye pads that are soaked in ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Avocado oil, Silk Amino Acids and KB5 Complex (Arnica, Gotu Kola, Lavender, Calendula, Chamomile). While I'm a total face mask obsessive, I'll admit I've rarely used any type of eye masks int the past. But I have been loving this option, which leaves my eyes feeling completely refreshed and lighter looking, after only about half an hour of use.

I usually follow these eye pads up with the brand's Intense Recovery Rosehip Eye Serum*, which I apply with their Micro-Firming Wand*. Rosehip Oil is one of my absolute favorite ingredients, and it's a star feature in many parts of this Anti-Aging Collection. The Rosehip Oil of the Eye Serum is coupled with Vitamin C and Retinol (a.k.a. Vitamin A) making it a powerhouse formula to help with any eye woes. The Micro-Firming Wand that I use to apply it is a really cool little gadget that I never would have thought I needed. When I first opened the box I'll be honest that I had no idea what in the world this little thing did. Basically, it's a lightweight tool that lightly vibrates when pressed against your skin, which is supposed to allow serums to penetrate about 30% deeper into your skin. I was a bit skeptical, but after about a month of applying my eye skincare only using this I have been very impressed. It seems to smooth the area around the eye, and I definitely have noticed a faster absorption time for products. Overall it's been quite impressive!

Another product I've been using in conjunction with the Micro-Firming Wand is the Form Control Marine Collagen Gel*, a combination of Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, Reishi Mushroom, KB5 Complex and many other known Collagen boosters. The purpose of this gem is to fill in "less defined areas", encouraging correction to fill them in. I've been using this with the Wand on areas with fine lines, which for me has mostly been the area around my eyes. It's soothing, hydrating, and has really made a great difference. Since I still have younger skin, I cannot speak too much of the effects on the rest of my face but from the difference I've seen around my eyes I'd venture to say it could produce some great results.

For the rest of the face, there's the incredible Rosehip Revitalizing Serum*, a blend of Rosehip Oil, KB5 Complex and Vitamin C that works to energize and rejuvenate your skin. I've been wearing this several nights a week, either alone or underneath another oil or moisturizer, and always wake up with visibly brighter and more energized skin. The great results don't surprise me at all, because Rosehip is such a fantastic ingredient that seems to produce wonderful results in just about every skin type imaginable, so I knew a line that focuses so heavily on this dream ingredient would probably work wonderfully.

Have you guys tried anything from Kat Burki before? The line just underwent a bit of a revamp with stunning new packaging and lots of new products, so if you haven't tried them before now is a great time to check them out!
