SkinOwl's Geranium Beauty Drops

Recently I was introduced to a skincare line that has been nothing but impressive to me. With seriously adorable packaging, wonderful formulas and just great all around ethics, SkinOwl is a natural beauty brand to watch out for. With all kinds of skin and body care products covering a variety of different concerns, this brand has a little something for everyone.

One of the great lines of the brand are their Beauty Drops, oils with just a few ingredients each that work to give all skin types a clear, healthy complexion. For the past few weeks I've been trialling the brand's Geranium Beauty Drops* which contain two ingredients: raw and organic unrefined Argania Spinosa Extract and organic Rose Geranium Oil. With a light, floral aroma, this oil works to not only calm your skin but your mind. It's suggested that you use about 5 to 7 drops of this oil either alone or with a facial moisturizer, letting it quickly absorb before applying any makeup or additional products.

For those of you that enjoy using facial oils as much as I do, this is the perfect option for a way to hydrate with oil prior to putting on makeup. While some facial oils can be heavy using really rich ingredients, this one is relatively lightweight and sinks in quickly. It's aimed at combination/oily skin types, but works for my dry (sometimes oily) skin quite well. It leaves my skin totally hydrated and refreshed without ever clogging my pores or leaving me feeling oily. It subsides any redness and really works at improving my skin throughout the day, even with makeup on top of it!

This little taste of the line has really left me eager to try out more from SkinOwl. They have several other options in the Beauty Drops category, including Lavender, Clary Sage and Mangosteen - each one serves a purpose and works to help out any and all skin types. The brand is really brilliant with their simple formulations, and has been an awesome green beauty discovery for me. Have you guys tried anything from SkinOwl? Let me know any recommendations in the comments below!

  1. I've tried the Beauty Drops in Lavender and I just ordered the one in Mangosteen. I like that the formulas are simple and can't wait to see how my skin responds to it.

  2. I haven't tried SkinOwl, but it sounds lovely. Have you thought about making some at home? With only argan oil and rose geranium essential oil, I'll bet that you could replicate it pretty easily (and inexpensively!).
