Josh Rosebrook's Nutrient Tinted Day Cream

For the past few weeks I've been testing out a product that is perfect for summer, and I am thrilled to finally be able to introduce you to it today. The product is from the wonderful Josh Rosebrook, a green beauty line that consists of some of the best haircare and skincare in the business. Josh is truly one of the kindest, most knowledgable people I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with and his products truly are an extension of that. Each and every one I've tried has had such innovative, effective ingredients that make them truly stand out in the green beauty industry.

One of the most popular items from his line is his Nutrient Day Cream with SPF 30, a truly beautiful light day cream chockfull of beneficial ingredients, as well as a very high quality mineral zinc oxide which provides a lightweight shield against the sun. When I first started using the Day Cream awhile back I loved it for its ability to hydrate without clogging pores and for being able to get a great sunblock that didn't cause any irritation to my skin. I loved the formula so much that I desperately wanted a tinted version that could provide the same benefits with just a slight hint of coverage. Little did I know that was actually the idea behind Josh's most recent project.

The new Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Tinted Day Cream* (which launches on his site this Saturday, June 13th) provides all the same gorgeous ingredients as his original Day Cream, including Sea Buckthorn Oil, Marshmallow Root, Ginseng and Chamomile, as well as the same lightweight SPF 30 through Non-Nano Zinc Oxide. The key difference between the two products is that his Nutrient Tinted Day Cream comes in a single color adjusting shade, providing you with a beautiful wash of sheer coverage that genuinely leaves your skin glowing.

As someone who prefers lighter coverage (especially on hot summer days) I have been adoring this formula for a way of giving my skin just a sheer bit of coverage with my very necessary daily SPF. The shade truly does adapt to your own skin tone, and I feel that rubbing in a pea size amount with my fingers or a buffing brush provides the optimal amount of coverage for days when I'm just running errands or having a fun day outside. It doesn't necessarily provide enough coverage to cover up any sort of redness or darkness, but instead can either be used as a primer underneath makeup or you can just use a bit of concealer for any potential trouble spots.

As you can tell I've fallen head over heels for this one. I am so beyond grateful that Josh added this to his line, and I can guarantee it's going to be a bestseller for him. The formula is perfection and I truly couldn't be happier with how well it's been working for me.
