March Favorites

My favorites posts have the tendency to go a bit long, so I'm going to try and keep this one pretty short and sweet. To be honest, it was a little hard to come up with some new favorites for the month without overlapping too much with February's. I have been using a lot of the same products because my skin has just been loving them. That said, I have found a few real gems in the past few weeks that I have happily been able to add to my routine.

First up is the incredible Radical Skincare Skin Perfecting Screen, a all in one makeup primer, SPF and skin perfecter. I first read about this over at one of my favorite blogs, That Grace Girl, where Grace raved about its perfecting ways. I always love Grace's recommendations, so when I had racked up a few nDulge reward points at Space NK I decided to try this guy out for myself. Turns out, it's just as amazing as Grace had claimed - it's somehow perfecting without any sort of tint, but also gives my face the necessary SPF and base to start my day. On no makeup days it's just enough to brighten up my complexion, and if I decide to wear makeup it's the best primer out there.

Speaking of no makeup days, another favorite of mine has been a makeup/skincare hybrid that provides the best nude lip - the aptly named Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Nude. I practically collect Fresh's Lip Treatments, but this sheer peachy color with a golden sheen has to be one of my favorites. It's perfect for those no-mirror reapplication moments because it's quite a sheer formula that you really cannot mess up (something I am known to do with lip products, even with a mirror). It also provides SPF 15 for your lips, a definite plus.

My other makeup favorite has been the Kjaer Weis Mascara, a wonderful organic mascara formula that manages to make your eyelashes look completely natural while still adding some definition and length. It's a bit expensive, as far as mascaras go, but I'm willing to pay more knowing it has a clean ingredients list. It also comes in a gorgeous silver casing that can actually be reused - Kjaer Weis sell refills of their mascara that you just pop into the case whenever you run out.

Another organic favorite from this month has been my much loved Gressa Purifying Oil*. A totally natural formulas that's made up of a combination of oils such as Jojoba and Rosehip, this fast absorbing oil works perfectly to hydrate my dry skin while healing up acne scars and redness. The whole Gressa line is full of incredible products, but if I had to pick a standout I'd say this is one that I cannot live without.

Finally, I've gotta add a fragrance to the list, and hands down my favorite has been my Byredo Hair Perfume in Gypsy Water. With notes of Bergamont, Lemon, Vanilla and Amber, I knew this scent would be a favorite before I even got the chance to test it out. I decided their hair perfume would be a great way to try it out without fully committing to the full perfume bottle, but I can already tell that the perfume will be coming home with me some time in the near future. It's the most beautiful day fragrance I've ever come across - it's somehow clean, unique and feminine and I couldn't love it more.

What have been some of your favorite beauty products this past month? Let me know in the comments below!
