It's Sunday, Relax

This past week has been a bit hectic, to say the least. I've had a lot going on and honestly it felt like I barely had a moment to myself. So to say that I'm happy it's Sunday would be a bit of an understatement. For me, Sunday is the day of the week where I just love to sit back, relax and just not think about a thing. And I thought I'd share with you guys a few of the relaxing activities I have planned...

First off is to finally get out my Kindle and start reading. For this particular Sunday, I'm hoping to finally, finally finish Amy Poehler's amazing Yes Please, a book I started eons ago and have yet to finish. As a bit of a Parks and Recreation junkie, I can safely say that Amy Poehler is one of my favorite people on the planet and her incredible sense of humor truly shines through in her book. With chapters on everything ranging from her family to her time on SNL, the book so far has just been full of gems and I'm looking forward to finally finishing it.

In between readings, I'm hoping to freshen up my tired skin a bit with the beautiful S.W. Basics Hibiscus Mask*. Completely organic with just three ingredients (Hibiscus, French Green Clay and Lavender), this beautiful powder turns into a full fledged mask when mixed with water, and it leaves my skin absolutely glowing. Look out for a full fledged review of this one in the near future...

I'm also hoping to repaint my nails, which have gotten quite chipped from my week of visual merchandising at work. My current go-to shade has to be the gorgeous light blue Essie in Find Me An Oasis. I'm a bit of an Essie fanatic, but their shades are always just stunning! This one is no exception, and for me it's been the perfect color for Spring.

Finally, I plan to finish off my day with an activity that's about as relaxing as you can get - a nice bubble bath with the Kneipp Lavender Balancing Herbal Bath. This oil smells divine and creates the most lovely atmosphere to just sit back and clear your mind. Just to add to the floral smell, I might even get a little crazy and burn some more of my beloved Diptyque Baies Candle.

So now that you have my boring relaxing plan for Sunday, what do you guys have planned for the day? And what beauty products do you love using for a day of relaxation? Let me know in the comments below!
