The Scents of Summer

I've mentioned in the past that I worked at Bath and Body Works for a few years, and during that time I developed quite the stash of candles. Even though I no longer work with the brand, I'm still a bit of a hoarder when it comes to their candle selection...When they came out with their recent summer candle collection it was love at first sight! The gorgeous candles not only come in some amazing summer-y scents, but each come in a beautiful frosted glass container that reminds me of sea glass.

My two favorites have been the scents Endless Weekend and Sunset Beach which are both perfect warm weather scents that fill up the room with a relaxing aroma. Endless Weekend contains notes of raspberry lychee sorbet, vanilla sandalwood and magnolia, creating the perfect combination of a floral and fruity scent. This scent also comes in the store's body care line, so of course I've already added the perfume, shower gel and lotion to my collection so I can take the scent with me everywhere I go.

As much as I love Endless Weekend though, my real obsession has been with Sunset Beach. It contains notes of pineapple, papaya and sugarcane which combine to create a scent that reminds me of tropical drinks and the beach. Every time I light it I'm immediately put in an amazingly relaxed mood, the scent just makes me smile! I've since bought this one in Bath and Body's wallflowers as well so I can smell it at all times - it's just that good!

What candles have you been using this summer? Let me know in the comments below!
