Currently Loving #2

Bobbi Brown Hot Cocoa Palette - I actually won this palette (which consists of six neutral eye shadow shades and a beautiful bright pink blush) through a Bobbi Brown giveaway. I have never won anything in my life, so I'm more then a little proud of this guy here. I would've been happy winning just about anything, but to win a product from a quality company like Bobbi Brown was a (big) added bonus! This palette was a limited-edition Nordstrom release, and unfortunately I believe it is no longer available. The set includes a nice big mirror, the blush I mentioned above, and eight neutral shades of eye shadow, which are divided with four being matte, and four with a sparkly finish. I reach for this guy a lot, as the eye shadows and blush are incredibly pigmented and have absolutely stunning finishes. This comes as no surprise, coming from the amazing Bobbi Brown line, but this palette is an absolute winner.

Clarins Instant Concealer - I should start off by saying I am a huge fan of Clarins. I have yet to try any of their skin care or make-up that I don't love to pieces. And the Instant Concealer from the brand was what started my love affair. I actually picked this up on a total whim, having heard good things about it through bloggers I follow. As I've mentioned a few times, I am the queen of concealers, constantly on the search for concealers to cover my under eye circles. So I figured this would just be another pickup to add to my ever-growing collection. I ended up falling head over heels in love with it's amazing coverage which can be built up without ever creasing or looking cake-y. The formula is even light reflecting, so it not only covers under eyes but brightens. I originally bought the concealer in shade 02 which turned out a bit too dark for me, but I loved it so much I kept it for summer and picked up shade 01 for now as well! I'll try and do a review on this one soon because I could go on and on with praise for this miracle product.

Origins Quick Hide! Concealer - Surprise, surprise, another concealer! This one is from the line Origins, which is another line where I have yet to find any product that I dislike. I usually layer up my concealer under my eyes, and lately this has been the one I've been using for my first layer. The reason for this is that it has great medium coverage, and sets to a crease-less, matte finish within minutes. No powder necessary. I apply this concealer, then my base and then a highlighter and voila, I'm done! This concealer isn't anything too "exciting" or flashy, but it's my old reliable. That might not sound like very high praise, but coming from someone who almost never finishes a whole bottle of concealer, saying that I have one I come back to time and time again is a pretty big compliment!

Bath and Body Works Fresh Lavender and Honey Fine Fragrance Mist - I've mentioned before that I worked at Bath and Body Works for a couple of years, so I'll always have a place in my heart for the brand. While I own a lot of higher end makeup, skincare and fragrance items, I personally am always happy to use something no matter what the price. I am a college student, after all, so honestly when I can save (which is something I should do a lot more often, admittedly) on a new purchase I will! I'm fairly ADD with fragrances, and constantly like changing them up. I have several dozens of different fragrance mists from my time at Bath and Body Works, and I love changing them up depending on my mood. The Fresh Lavender and Honey fragrance is their newest addition (having just debuted yesterday) and I'm absolutely loving it! It's a mixture of lavender, honey and nectarine, and it is the perfect scent for spring. It's fresh, romantic and long-lasting, and one that I'll be happy to go back to time and time again.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Mega Melon - I know I'm getting a little repetitive in my love for the Clinique Chubby Stick, but I really can't stress enough how amazing they are! So moisturizing and pigmented, what's not to love? This shade is one I've had for awhile, Mega Melon, and it adds just a hint of color and sheen to my lips. I'm usually fairly basic with my lip colors, so this one is a great everyday wear for me.

Revlon Skinlights Illuminator in Bare Lights - This is a product that was incredibly popular a few years ago, then was discontinued and brought back just this year. I can't speak for the original formulation, as I never tried it, but this one is truly fantastic. I mix a few drops with my primer, and then add my base and I'm left with a great, glowy finish. I've been using the shade Bare Lights with is a great neutral shade that adds just a bit of color and shine. I know there are two other shades available, and I've been so impressed with the one I have that I know I'll be picking up the rest of the collection before long.
